Malin Bergquist Promotes Four Professionals

April 2, 2008– Four new professionals have joined Malin, Bergquist and Company, LLP, one of Western Pennsylvania’s largest and fastest-growing certified public accounting firms.

They include Robin Lancaster (paraprofessional), Michael Pede (level 1 accountant), Hilary Shah (senior accountant) and Uriah Wells (audit manager).

The firm now has 17 partners and more than 110 employees in Greensburg, Jeannette, Pittsburgh and Erie.

• Lancaster, a paraprofessional, formerly served for eight years with the Fiduciary Trust Tax Department of Mellon Financial Corporation. Earlier, she handled accounting and bookkeeping with a small manufacturer in Pittsburgh.

• Pede, a former Malin Bergquist intern and 2007 University of Pittsburgh graduate, is a Level 1 accountant practicing with the firm’s International Group.

• Shah is a senior accountant and auditor. She previously was with a small CPA firm in Wexford. She is a 2004 graduate of Penn State University.

• Wells is an audit manager in the firm’s Public Company/SEC Group, and formerly was an audit manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
