Nov. 4, 2005 - Malin Bergquist client James Druschel, CFO of VEKA, Inc., receives the Pittsburgh Busines Times "CFO of the Year" award in the category of medium private company.  

October 2005 - CPA Elaine Karle joins the Erie office, with more than 20 years of tax experience.

Summer 2005 - Albert J. Isacks, Director of Estate Services, authors a client advisory, "Stretch IRA's - What Are They and Are They For Everybody?", focusing on how to provide beneficiaries, upon one's death, with the longest allowable period of tax deferral before all of the assets in the IRA must be distributed. May 25, 2005 - Chris Luikart joins the firm as Information Technology Manager.  He previously spent more than eight years in the pharmaceutical areana in a wide variety of IT capacities.
