Tim is a partner with the Erie office of Malin Bergquist, Erie’s fastest-growing CPA firm, with offices also in Pittsburgh and Greensburg, PA. He is a member of the firm’s Public Company/SEC Group and Not-for-Profit Organizations Group.

Tim is responsible for audit clients in various industries including distribution, construction, insurance, banking, manufacturing, not-for-profit and employee benefit plans in Northwest Pennsylvania and Ohio, with annual revenues up to $200 million. Tim also performs consulting engagements. In 2007, he served as a temporary controller for a company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Richmond, VA.

Prior to joining Malin Bergquist, Tim was an accounting manager with an Erie public company in the retail industry with more than $500 million in revenue. He administered compliance with SEC and accounting regulations, and managed profit, loss and incentive reporting for 800 leased store properties nationwide.

In his earlier tenure in public accounting, Tim oversaw audits for closely held companies in the fields of manufacturing, construction, timber management, petroleum and automobile dealerships. Some of this work involved out-of-state subsidiaries in California and Budapest, Hungary.

Tim currently holds the treasurer position on the Board of Directors of the Flagship Niagara League. Active in youth programs in the community, Tim has been a coach for girls softball and boys baseball and basketball in the Millcreek Youth Athletic Association. He also has served as a Cub Scout leader.
