Joseph E. Petrillo, Partner

Joseph E. Petrillo is a partner with the Jeannette office of DTA Certified Public Accountants, a division of Malin, Bergquist & Company, LLP, one of the city’s oldest and largest certified public accounting firms, with offices also in Greensburg, Pittsburgh and Erie.

He and his team provide services to some of the best-known companies and non-profit organizations in Southwest Pennsylvania, including businesses in the fields of glass, rubber and electrical switch manufacturing and the transportation industry, as well as the internationally growing, multi-billion dollar paintball gaming industry.

Joe is as much an advisor and analyst for clients as a tax specialist and family-business solution provider. He has helped the investors of several old-line glass companies to re-start production operations and assisted in obtaining vital bank financing. He also serves clients with operations in China, Morocco, England and France, and is currently assisting a client with a potential acquisition in Shanghai.

He provides a wide array of services for clients, from tax and tax planning to auditing, accounting, and retirement planning. By focusing on long-term relationships with clients, and thoroughly understanding their underlying business operations, accounting systems, financial reporting and tax planning needs, he creatively develops effective, tailored advice.

Joe and his group in Jeannette and Greensburg have worked together on a daily basis for more than a dozen years, giving clients long-term continuity as well as access to a broad range of expertise.

A 1995 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He began his career with the firm in June of 1995 and was promoted from staff accountant to manager during 2002 and from manager to partner during 2004. He has been a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania since 1995.

Joe is a member of Rotary International and holds leadership roles in various social clubs. He and his wife Tatum live in the Monroeville, PA, area with their daughter, Madelynn and their son, Benjamin.
