accounting firms, with offices in Pittsburgh. During his
35-year career, he has performed audit, accounting and tax
services for hundreds of companies, each with its own financial

providing him with an intellectual archive of effective solutions.
As a business
consultant, Bill helps clients find ways to leverage the
value of their enterprise through his seasoned judgment
and experience-based intuition – by identifying
strategic opportunities for improvement, gathering optimal
teams of advisors and developing action plans of impact.
One of Bill’s
largest clients, spanning nearly four decades of personal
service, is a locally headquartered, multi-branch savings
bank. He also has served a religiously affiliated institution
since the late 1960s, focusing on the audit of the parent
as well as its affiliate entities such as a private high
school, housing and care facilities for women, elderly
housing complex, and a center for the aging. Other clients
regularly include small, closely-held and family owned
companies.
Demonstrating
his consulting and instructional acumen, Bill conducts
training for clients on a variety of business development
subjects. Additionally, he developed a two-day program, “Finance
for Non-Financial Managers,” which he regularly presents
as a member of the faculty of a professional association.
These courses impart basic accounting and financial concepts
that help organizations reach their overarching objectives.
Bill received
his bachelor’s degree in accounting
from Gannon University in 1966 and his CPA certification
in Pennsylvania in 1970. In 2001, he completed the requirements
to become a Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning (CSRP).
A native of Erie, he is a 1962 graduate of the city’s
prestigious Cathedral Preparatory High School.
